Must-see Macy's Thanksgiving parade, 9 a.m. to noon, NBC and CBS. This is mega-scale entertainment - 12 bands, 27 floats, 800 clowns, 1,600 cheerleaders and lots of celebrities lip-syncing their songs.CBS says it will have Carrie Underwood and the Broadway casts of and a Beatles tribute. NBC talks of more Broadway - - plus lots of individuals. That ranges from teen-show stars (Miranda Cosgrove, Victoria Jackson) to Gladys Knight and Mannheim Steamroller.Taylor Swift (8-9 p.m., NBC) and Beyonce (9:30-11 p.m., ABC) specials. Both shows mix pop music with behind-the-scenes glimpses. Swift's special follows her from Los Angeles to New York, with stops for concerts in unsual places. Then Beyonce has her second Thanksgiving special, this time also directing it. This follows a trip that went to 32 countries on six continents, ranging from Croatia to China to Abu Dhabi. Worth watching National Dog Show, noon to 2 p.m., NBC. This has become an annual ratings hit, crunching an entire show - more than 150 breeds and 2,000 dogs - into two hours.Football, all day. Pro games include two troubled teams hosting recent Super Bowl champions. It's the Patriots at the Lions (12:30 p.m., CBS) and the Saints at the Cowboys (4:15 p.m., NBC). Also, the Bengals visit the New York Jets (8 p.m., CBS). Evening college ball includes the Texas and Texas A&M game (8 p.m., ESPN).Miracle on 34th Street, 2 p.m., NBC; 8:30 p.m., ABC Family. Most people prefer the 1947 original on NBC, complete with Maureen O'Hara and a young Natalie Wood; we lean toward the slicker 1994 remake on ABC Family, with Richard Attenborough as Kris Kringle.The Simpsons Movie (2007), 8-10 p.m., Fox. Springfield is encased in an enormous containment dome. (Yes, it's Homer's fault.) The movie is inconsistent, but has moments of great fun.A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, 8-9 p.m., ABC. Here's another chance to see the 1973 cartoon. Rounding out the hour is the Mayflower portion of a Charlie Brown mini-series.CNN Heroes, 8-10 p.m., CNN. This tribute honors 10 real-life heroes, plus the Chilean miners and their rescuers. Performers include Bon Jovi, Sugarland and John Legend.Modern Life, 9 p.m., ABC.
