Key US Dollar Libor Continues To Rise, Euro Rate Also Up

LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing three-month dollars on the London interbank market climbed for the sixth successive day Wednesday to reach its highest level since late August.The corresponding euro and sterling rates also fixed higher.Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, Wednesday rose to 0.30344% from 0.30031%.The euro rate rose to 0.96875% from 0.96750%, while the sterling rate rose to 0.74125% from 0.73875%.-By Neelabh Chaturvedi, Dow Jones Newswires; +44 20 7842 9495;neelabh.chaturvedi@dowjones.com
